Paragliding

Paragliding is the recreational and competitive adventure sport of paragliding; Light, free-flying, foot-launched glider with no primary lattice structure. The pilot is seated in a harness suspended under a fabric wing. The shape of the wing is maintained by the lines, the pressure of the air entering the openings in the front of the wing and the aerodynamic forces of the air flowing out. These flights can cover many hundreds of kilometers through flights of few hours despite the fact they do not have an engine. By skillfully using the sources of lift, the pilot can gain altitude and often climb to heights of several thousand meters.
