Spread over seven acres of tropical & indigenous trees, herbal medicinal plants, vines and bushes, as well as overlooking the Indian Ocean, our Ayurveda resort in Sri Lanka offers a holistic experience; this is provided under the expert care of resident physicians, visiting consultants and hospital trained therapists. The resort’s Ayurveda centre is the only one in the country affiliated with a Siddhalepa Ayurveda hospital with access to a range of medicines produced to ISO standards by the Group in its factories.

ACCOMMODATIONAYURVEDA CENTRE
Ayurveda packages are available for most illnesses and medical conditions at our Ayurvedic Centre in Sri Lanka. Guests will be under the care of resident physicians and visiting consultants affiliated to our Ayurveda Hospital in Mount Lavinia, just outside the commercial capital, Colombo. All Ayurveda medicines stocked in the centre’s dispensary are manufactured to ISO standards in the Group’s factories in Colombo. Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort Wadduwa is a pioneering venture by the Siddhalepa Group’s Chairman, Deshabandu, Dr. Victor Hettigoda hailing from a generation of Ayurveda physicians. He is listed among the top 100 Ayurveda Physicians of the Century and 15 other physicians listed among this top 100 visit the Ayurveda Hospital and are also on call at the resort.

At our Ayurveda resort in Wadduwa, guests can stroll into our beachfront restaurant, a den of discovery where healthy Ayurveda meals are transformed into delightful dishes with exotic herbs, greens and a sprinkling of spice for a truly tropical experience. Our Ayurveda physicians are on hand at all mealtimes to give advice on special healthy diets prescribed to guests or to talk to them on the benefits of Ayurveda foods. Meals served at our resort consist of garden fresh herbs, salads, vegetables and fruits while being supplemented with fish and white meat.

At Siddhalepa Ayurveda Health Resort Wadduwa you can join an Ayurveda cooking class and get insights into preparing meals that balance the three doshas (Vata, Pitta & Kapha) or sign up for a special Herbal Plant Tour. Conducted by an in-house doctor, this tour will take you around the property where amidst the serenity and fresh air you can discover over 400 plants and herbs with their own unique characteristics and fragrances. A tour to an Ayurveda factory showcasing how the Siddhalepa range of products is meticulously made is also available.
